As you can see above, the subscription box came with a lot of little goodies! The box contained a very pretty, floral designed info card with the company’s Facebook and Instagram links. The card contained a beautiful quote from Stephen King and a reminder for everyone to leave reviews for their authors. The box also contained a card asking people to join their Goodreads reader group. The box also contained a very pretty bookmark from an etsy shop. I like how simple, but beautiful the bookmark is. It also reminds me of when I was in band. It’s a very calming bookmark. Links to all of these will be left below!

Now to get to the meat of this box. The first book in the box was Dreamer: Raphim Rising Book One by M.J. Neal. The book is signed and is a fantasy novel. The back cover book blurb:

When your dreams become reality, do you dare face your nightmares?

This is the dangerous riddle that opposes the shepherd, Kelly, who has suffered from dark dreams for as long as he can remember. As an uneasy friendship forms between he and Raphim knight, Edmund Cade, the two begin to unravel both the threads of an ancient power sleeping in their land and a perilous power beginning to awaken within the boy himself.

But evil follows in ruthless pursuit as a common shepherd boy now faces both the threat of enemies and the audience of kings. Could Cade be withholding a dark secret?

Dreamer is a fantasy fiction novel that invites teens and adults into a dangerous realm rich with poetry, magic, and adventure. Join Kelly and Edmund on their quest to discover the truth behind a prophecy that has lain shrouded in the past for centuries. But if they fail, prevailing shadow may forever break and swallow the light to the ruin of all.

The book also had the author’s info card inside, which I will also link below so you can visit her sites. The book retails for $17.95 in paperback and $20.75 in hardback.

The other book is a romance novel titled Last Chance Baby by Ashley Gallegos. The book is also signed and this is the back cover blurb:

When pregnant Hailey returns to New Mexico, she’s happy to play along with the rumor that she’s running from the child’s father in Seattle—as long as it keeps the people she loves safe. But when tragedy strikes, she has no choice but to trust ex-Navy SEAL Chuck with her life and the life of her unborn child. But Chuck has his own secrets, and he can’t ignore the red flags coming from Hailey, even though his heart says to trust her. The two soon find themselves plunged into a world of crime, espionage, and a danger that neither had anticipated.

The book also included an ADORABLE door knob paper hanger that says DO NOT DISTURB I’m reading the latest novel by Ashley Gallegos. The book retails for $7.99 in kindle format.

Verdict: While the box is a good deal and is a great idea, I feel like the box would have been better if it was themed and if there were some more little book related goodies in it. The box is also a bit pricey for non-USA residents. However, I like that the box offers a different avenue for people who need a box for non-popular books and that it helps indie authors! The box’s website also offers people the option of purchasing the books through their website! It’s worth a look at and at least one month buy.
