This month’s box was #BOOKSTAFAME! The items in this box are supposed to be geared towards items that any bookstagrammer would need, which is an unique idea in my opinion. The first thing I grabbed out of this wonderful box was this info card. The card was simple, but beautiful and on the back it had information about what was included in this month’s box and a reminder to review the box online!

Out of the many wonderful items in the box, these two were my favorites. The candle is from @fictionalflames and it was an exclusive to the box. It smells so tropical and sweet! The scents in it include peach, tropical fruit, and melon. It’s also colored pink and has a layer of glitter on it. A candle this size usually retails for $6 USD. The other amazing item that I received in this box was this booksleeve from @book_keeperx. This sleeve is so beautiful and wonderfully made. I thought the sleeve would only fit a paperback book, but I’ve been able to fit some of my hardbacks in it just fine. This book sleeve usually retails for $15 USD.

This box also included some beautiful bookmarks that matched the theme perfectly in my opinion. The two top bookmarks were from @laladreamyland. The bookmarks came in plastic sleeves and are very good quality. Her bookmarks usually retail for $1.80 USD. The bottom bookmark was from @markmywordsshop. The bookmark is elastic and is simple, but very beautiful. Her bookmarks usually retail for $5 USD.

The last two items in the box before we get to the book were a set of fairy lights and a fun art print! Fairy lights are a huge prop in the bookstagram community and a must for many. The fairy lights like these you can get for $9.99 USD on Amazon for a set of 6, which would make them about $1.67 USD per light. The art print says “Don’t let the trolls get you down” and was designed and made by the wonderful @reverieandink. Items like this usually retail for $4 USD.

Lastly, THE BOOK! The book this month was Internet Famous by Danika Stone. Here is the excerpt: Internet sensation Madison Nakama has it all! Her pop-culture rewatch site has a massive following, and fans across the world wait on her every post and tweet. And now Laurent, a fellow geek (and unfairly HOT French exchange student!), has started flirting with her in the comments section of her blog. But Laurent’s not the only one watching for Madi’s replies…

Internet fame has a price, and their online romance sparks the unwanted attention of a troll. When Madi’s “real life” hits a rough patch, she feels her whole world crumbling. With Laurent’s support, can Madi rally her friends across the globe to beat the troll, or will he succeed in driving her away from everything―and everyone―she loves?

I’m so excited to read this book! If you’re wanting to pick up a copy it retails on Amazon for $6.56 in paperback.

Verdict: I feel this box is so underappreciated. The attention to detail is superb and the boxes always perfectly match the theme. This one is no different! I feel all of these items in the box perfectly matched the theme and the book, since the book is about an internet sensation like we all strive to be sometimes. The main concern I’ve been seeing about this box seems to be about the price of the box compared to how many items were in the box, which is why I’ve brought back the price counter in my reviews. To have bought the box would have been $38 USD. To buy the items separately would have been $41.83 USD. You do save money buying this box. Another concern I’ve seen is that some people seemed upset about the amount of items in the box. I’ve been subscribing to various boxes for years. When a box has fewer items in the box it usually means that some of the items were more expensive. While it’s okay to want quantity over quality, I’d rather have the quality box. And if you want a box that focuses on quality, then please check out this box. You will not be disappointed.
